Relax with mountain views in the Bavarian Upland!

A place with nature for peace and wellbeing!

Aufhofen is located in beautiful Upper Bavaria between Munich (approx. 30 km away) and Bad Tölz and is only a 30-minute drive from Lake Starnberg. This makes my vacation apartment the ideal starting point for activities as a couple or with children. Whether in the mountains, for hiking or cycling, or for a trip to the lake or to the city.

 

The beautiful vacation apartment is located on the top floor of our house and is situated in the northern Tölzer Land, in the foothills of the Alps on the edge of the small village of Aufhofen, which belongs to the municipality of Egling. The village pond is ideal for swimming and splashing around and is only 300 meters away!

  • Dear Heidi, We felt very, very comfortable with you. It was as if we were simply "at home". The apartment is very nicely furnished, nothing is missing. Everything you need is there. We also noticed the lovingly placed lavender bags, the scent contributed to the relaxation and also the bathtub, which we and the children enjoyed using after an eventful day e.g. at Lake Starnberg, Lake Tegernsee or after skiing. :) The children were also immediately blown away by the lovingly selected bear bedding, which I will now also get for home. :) There were chilled drinks in the fridge on arrival.   • Dear Heidi, The stay in your apartment was very nice and relaxing. Next time we will take even more time to explore everything :) About your apartment: It is so lovingly furnished and rich in detail that we felt at home straight away. The equipment is also great (washing machine, dishwasher, freezer etc.). The view from the balcony is also very enjoyable (when the weather clears the mountains :D ). From your apartment you can quickly get to many excursion destinations (Zugspitze, Starnberger See, Schwangau) and have absolute peace and quiet there!   • Dear Heidi, We had a wonderful vacation in your fantastically equipped apartment. You have everything you need and the apartment is furnished with great attention to detail. And the warm welcome at the beginning of the vacation is wonderful. The apartment is in a quiet location but you can make wonderful excursions from there to the mountains, Lake Starnberg or various towns. We were simply completely satisfied. Thank you very much ☺️

  • We stayed in Heidi's apartment for about 10 days and would have loved to stay forever. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and quiet. Everything was super clean and Heidi was a very good hostess. The icing on the cake was the swimming pond nearby. The region is perfect for cycling vacations and Aufhofen is a very good starting point. We will be back soon ...
